CyanogenMod 7 1 image teaser I

Just installed cyanogenmod 7.1. Its base on 2.3.7. Now in testing mode. Fast and Stable.

Cons:
-New market fail to download (Back to old market-OK)
-No google or samsung apps (No Samsung apps OK for me not Google Apps)
-No Adobe flash
-Not really nice calendar (Looking for Samsung Calendar)
-New finding. Battery drain faster than other kernel..

Pro:
-Superfast
-Smooth transition
-New clock
-Car mode
-Nice camera app
-Fast email client
-Camera enable on 2% battery
-Battery % available inside CyanogenMod Setting

iCloud vs Google Services

I just find out that on my Windows 7 Open Network and Sharing center there is iCloud options. This is what OTA (Over The Air) update called in Android... iCloud using WiFi connection to update between the phone and iCloud... until now we dont have OTA activate for 2.3.5 users (Malaysia).... mmmmmm

Nicely presented on the windows configurations. Just nice component to back-up over the cloud.

Comparing Apple to Google Cloud Services

Is iOS 8 Making You Wi Fi Sluggish on iPhone and iPad

Every new firmware release tends to have some bugs and teething issues and iOS 8 is no different. If you have just recently grabbed iOS 8 for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, you may have encountered some wi-fi related issues. In fact, it is clear from the Apple Support forums, that a lot of users have been affected by this and a number of other problems. Until Apple makes the necessary bug fixes there isnt that much that you can do.

The roll-out of iOS 8 has passed with very little incident and has been well received. It hasnt however completely avoided the headlines and iPhone 4s users have been strongly advised against updating. There have been several key functionality related bugs tarnishing the fluidity of iOS 8 on the iPhone 4s and now it seems that there are some wi-fi issues being reported by many users.

What is happening, is that wi-fi seems to struggle with basic connectivity and dropped connections are occurring on a wide range of iOS running products. A number of affected users have contacted Apple Support about this and the general message seems to be to do a restore. One user found that while restoring to new remedied the problems, they soon returned when a backup was applied, suggesting that the problem lies within iOS 8s compatibility with backups rather than the software itself.

Another issue that has been causing problems once again is the battery drain and it does appear that Apples new iOS 8 has a few kinks that still need to be ironed out. Hopefully this will happen very quickly and if you havent already updated to the latest software, you might want to hold off until all the little bugs have been resolved. Some of you really concern about battery. Before installing any new custom ROM, the first question you will ask. Hows the battery?

How about PA battery? I will show a few battery screens history of mine.

Getting better after a few cycles.... normal usage... fb, twitter, email, tapatalk, taking photo and browse internet. I dont play games :)

More than enough...

No heavy drain over the night...

Note:
Battery life base on your usage and battery age. My advice. DONT ASK! Just install and compare from your previous ROM. Everybody have diff phone usage.

If you ask gamers. Their battery might stand for 1-2 hours only.
If you ask youtubers. Their battery might stand 4-5 hours.
If you ask normal users. Their battery might stand 6-8 hours.
If you ask flashers. Their battery last forever :) hehehehehe.....

How to ROOT CWM N7000XXKL3

Would like to ROOT and Install CWM into your stock N7000XXKL3 ROM?

Follow this instruction:
1. Root your XXKL3 stock ROM using zergRUSH .Easiest and safest way
2. Download InitialCFRootFlasher
3. Download "zImage" KL3 here
(Extract "CF-Root-SGN_XX_ODD_KL3-v5.0-CWM5.zip" and "tar" until you could see the "zImage" file
4. Copy "zImage" file into "CF-RootInitialCFRootFlasherzImage"

5. Run/double click "already-rooted.bat". Follow instruction displayed
6. DONE. Sit back and relax :)

You could straight ROOT + CWM it here. KL3 have been added to the list of CF-Root.

Removed all the default widgets and home screens. Some widget run at the background to get update and effect your note performance.

Basically ICS 4.0.3 HongKong/Taiwan version you will feel smooth and stable.

Quite small number in Quadrant compare to Germany ICS. This is Power Saving Mode

Acceptable FREE RAM..Dont worry. ICS use the RAM for better apps loading.

If you wonder whats language available. Here it is. Default would be Chinese.

Good battery performance. Look at the Awake. Reduce to minimum. You should look at this if you want a good battery life. If you use custom rom, look at the Awake interval as well. Frequent Awake, means you will drain your battery fast.

More battery result. Leaving my phone overnight, you will loose 3-5 % battery only.
